Firenze Tango Festival – the international Tango Festival in Italy

30 international artists, 40 workshops, performances every night, tango dancers from all over the world
Dancing in the Saschall Theatre means: 2500 sq dedicated to tango in a location with high quality light and sound system, 2 orchestras, big tango show on the stage, 2 dance floors ("traditional" and "alternative"), afternoon milonga, table reservation and table service, exposition of tango shoes and clothes.
Quality and Service of the FTF: International teachers, classes with registration limit, search partner service for workshops, transfer to lessons, large Festival staff helping for any need.
The Saschall Theatre is a great location with two dancing floors (one for traditional tangos and one for alternative tango), good service in all senses (there are more than 20 helpers who are at your disposal at any time), many good DJ's and of course excellent teachers, live tango orchestras and Super Show on the stage on Friday night, and it's also the best time for visiting Florence (not too hot not too cold and so crowded…).Soon you will get more info about workshops program and costs.

News of the 9th edition of the Firenze Tango Festival:
The Festival presents for the first time a competition for amateur groups who present a small group choreography on the stage of the Saschall Theatre on Saturday evening before the Gran Gala starts. Groups who are interested in participating at the competition should contact the direction of the FTF in order to get the participation form.
The tangonights of Thursday and Sunday will take place at the Teatro dell'Affratellamento - the smaller theatre with limited capacity. These milongas have to be reserved for getting access to it.

- To get by feet to the festival places: ca. 15 minutes. Nevertheless we are organizing a transfer service from and to the workshop places. For info go directly to the "info desk" in the theatre hall.
- Please check at the Festival office in which rooms your lessons will take place. (There could be changes respect to the info you find on the website!).
- We suggest that you choose workshops within your own level in order to create a homogene atmosphere during the lessons.
- The program may change. Please check updating on the web-site.
- Lessons can be attended only if you have booked and only with partner. Payment has to be effected before attending the classes
- On the web you will find a forum "Cerca Partner" (Search partner). Beside this the organization will try to help you in finding partner (without any warranty and no refund in case that the couple doesn't "work well" together.
